The Environ chair's wooden frame is made of kiln-dried beech wood and is varnished. The backrest and seat are constructed from multilayer birch plywood. All edges and corners are rounded in accordance with North American safety standards. The chairs can be stacked up to four for versatile classroom use and to save space. The angled legs provide stability and prevent tipping. The legs are equipped with plastic glides to protect floors, reduce noise, and prevent water and humidity from penetrating the wood.
